Limitations of Web version of Dissertation

The web version of Tripcevich 2007 dissertation has several limitations including:

• Pagination of the original is absent.
• Figures have been downgraded to JPG for web viewing. In the original dissertation PDF most maps and figures derive from EPS vector files.

Use the PDF version (27 Mb) to avoid these issues.
